Things went wrong between us due to a misunderstanding and we went our ways. Three months ago, I tied the knot with someone who was my parents' choice. My wife is an equally great human being but my first love keeps playing on my mind. I often get distracted and cannot concentrate on work. What should I do to keep her off my mind?

Dear Sanil,
Your first love is gone and you have to move on especially now that you are married. You need closure and one way is to cut off totally. Do not harbour any thoughts about her and discard all the stuff that may remind you of her. Both of you decided to part ways due to a misunderstanding. If you were so keen not to lose her, you should have reworked on the relationship to save it. Another way out is to be mature and remember the good things from your relationship. As she was your first love, she may have made a lasting impression on you. So just cherish it as a memory.
Diana will solve it!
