'I don't have a girlfriend'

According to them, I would make a good boyfriend but I just don't have it in me to approach a girl. I am now attracted to a girl but don't have the guts to confess my feelings to her. What if she laughs at me? My inferiority complex is too much to handle.

Dear Sukur,
Good heavens! You don't have to say ‘I love you' in the first meeting itself. Just start off with a casual conversation. If she is interested in you, she too will keep the conversation flowing. If there are things in common between you'll, it will help a great deal. Things will fall in place after that. Don't put pressure on expressing your feelings, it will happen over a period of time. You can drop hints by being caring and loving. I am sure she will understand. Also, if you put pressure and a deadline to have a girlfriend, you will never get one. You are only 22 and have a long way to go.
