'I've become an agony aunt for my friends'

The guy thinks that the girl doesn't care enough for him while the girl thinks the guy has become selfish. They both keep calling me and updating about how they aren't meant for each other. Since I'm in the middle, I often find myself in an awkward position as I don't know what to do because both are dear to me. I don't wish to spoil my relationship with anyone. At the same time, I wish I'm doing the right thing by holding them together.

Dear Rani,
You need to steer clear from this mess. Both your friends are using you as as you are willing to give them a patient hearing. You have become a sounding board for both of them to vent their frustrations. Stop listening to their sob stories. Instead, tell them to sort out the differences themselves. You also need to stop mediating between them.
