'I've fallen for my student in the coaching class'

22 April,2013 12:09 AM IST |   |  Dear Diana

Dear Diana, I'm a 27-year-old professor. I've been teaching in a coaching class for about two years now and I believe I'm doing well as far as my career is concerned.

But as far as my love life goes, it's non-existent. However, there is this one particular student for whom I have a shine for. He's 21. We are fond of each other but I don't think he looks at me in the way I've started to look at him. I know I'll be jeopardising both my personal as well as my professional life if I go ahead on this front. While at the same time, I can't just be silent about the whole thing.

Dear Dhruti,
You ask the question and you know the answer too! So why are you messing up your professional as well as your personal life? At 21, I am sure he has other things on his mind. Perhaps he has a girlfriend too! By telling him how you feel you will be an object of ridicule. And this guy will tell everyone at the coaching class about your feelings for him. Are you willing to make a fool of yourself? Think before you take the plunge.u00a0

Diana will solve it!
