'I want to have an office spouse'

19 July,2013 11:54 PM IST |   |  Dear Diana

Dear Diana, I am 31 and married for two years. I keep long hours at office and so does my husband.

A new guy joined the office recently and from day one I felt comfortable with him. He is younger to me and single. I am highly careful of how I behave when he is around so that nobody knows about this little fascination of mine. Do others too have such office crushes?

Dear Monila,
Considering that you are spending more time at home rather than office, it's but natural to bond with a colleague or have a crush on someone. Every office has its share of crushes among colleagues. You must have heard of an office spouse - a person at your workplace who is constantly supportive, who serves as your punching bag, your agony aunt and lunch and coffee break partner. As long as you don't have to get physical with him or have marriage plans, it's okay. It is just bonding at your workplace.

Diana will solve it!
