British men officially last longer in bed than speedy foreigners, reports The Sun.
After years being told they are rubbish at love-making, Brits can at last claim to be world-beaters.
Researchers in Holland measured the sex performance of nearly 500 men from five countries against the clock. Those from the UK averaged ten minutes before reaching climax, as stated in The Sun
Americans managed to hang on for only eight minutes, the Dutch 6.5 and the Spanish 4.9. Turks trailed in last, clocking up an average 4.4 minutes. One man, whose nationality was not identified, lasted just SIX SECONDS.

But another stalwart managed an exhausting 52 minutes.
The researchers at Utrecht University were investigating premature ejaculation - a condition medically defined as being unable to last a minute - which can wreck relationships.
A spokesman said: "The UK had the longest time. We found no major difference in those who used condoms. But men who drank alcohol before sex tended to last longer."
The results were published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine.
