One hug later, he has not shown any interest in me!
Dear Diana,
He joined our office a year ago and showed an interest in me. I like him too but would always tell him that we're both married (to other people) and that we should not have these kind of feelings. He told me there was nothing wrong and that we wouldn't be cheating on our partners. But he only wanted to hug me once and after much ado, I let him. After that, he has not shown any interest in me but I like him nevertheless and am unable to forget him. I want to have a good relationship with him (though, not physical). Why doesn't he understand this?

Dear Friend,
You seem to be confused about your feelings for this colleague. You're clearly enjoying the attention, but don't want it to turn into anything lasting. Also, since the two of you are married (to others), it would only complicate things were this relationship to go any further. If one hug was all it took for him to get over you, what does that say about him or his 'feelings' for you? If you are unable to forget him, it's only because he's playing hard to get. You might be clear about wanting a platonic though emotional relationship with this guy. He might not want the same thing. Have you given thought to that?
Is watching porn and masturbating, a sin?
Dear Diana,
I am a bit confused. Is watching porn and masturbating a sin? Please let me know.
Neil
Dear Neil,
Sins are in the mind and as much a human creation as one's religion permit them to be.u00a0 And unless you're a hermit or celibate, I really doubt that you should let anybody tell you that a harmless habit (that doesn't turn into an addiction) is a sin. It isn't.
Forget her or wait for her?
Dear Diana,
I am a 22 year-old guy. I have had a girlfriend for two years now. We love each other very much. Of late, my girlfriend's parents have been having financial problems and she has stopped coming to college. It's been six months since and in all this time she hasn't called or met me. Should I forget her or wait for her? I am lonely without her and cannot concentrate on my work either!

Dear Friend,
In stead of looking for assurance that breaking loose is the best way ahead, you should be eager to find out if you can help her in any way to at least complete an education. If her family is running low on cash, can you seriously expect her to be able to call you or meet you at your convenience? Why don't you go meet heru00a0 or call her? It really depends on how much you love or care for her, I guess. If you are lonely without her, you should try everything in your power to make things better for her, no? Stop being such a selfish person and think about her rather than yourself.
