Dear Diana,I'm a 22-year-old student and I attended a party on New Year's Eve where I ended up sharing a bed with my pal's girlfriend. Since we were all pretty sozzled, alcohol is to be blamed. Both of us had a bit of fun. Though we didn't go all the way, I feel guilty as it was really awkward when I encountered her yesterday with my friend. But strangely she did not react or say anything about that night. It was as if she was unaware or perhaps preferred to ignore it. I don't wish to ruin my friendship nor want to pursue any relationship with her. Should I go ahead and talk to her? Should I tell him what happened that night? Or better not as she, too, has ignored it. What should I do?

But next time you need to stop from taking another glass when you know you can't handle yourself. It appears that your pal's girlfriend, too, was so high that perhaps she does not remember what she did. Or perhaps she does and is now preferring to behave as if nothing went amiss. So it is better for you, too, to ignore it. A confession trip to your pal will ruin your friendship with him forever and will spell the end of his relationship with his girl. Like the girl, don't even talk about it. And next time when on a night out, don't even think of taking an extra sip if you don't know how to take care of yourself.
