I'm confused about my Sri Lankan girlfriend

She's still studying so understandably she can't quit everything out there and come here for me. As for me, I'm basically from Delhi but currently working in Mumbai. I can't even imagine settling down in Sri Lanka. Should I assume that our virtual love is just a figment of our imagination and get on with our respective lives? We've been in touch with each other for more than a year now. I'm still confused about the way our future could be.
