I'm having an affair with an intern

We hit it off really well and soon we were having an affair. Although we seemed to be doing fine, we called it quits last week after much discussion (read: arguments). However, it hasn't ended completely because we keep bumping into each other since we work in the same team. I'm single so I don't think I'm cheating on anyone. Just that this affair is affecting my professional life and I want a way out.

You are one helluva confused soul. You are single, so what is the problem? If it affects work, then you should have harboured such thoughts at the outset - before falling head over heels in love with her. Now you say that you have split.
