The accounts of such experiences ranged from a date who wore an electronic tag to the woman who showed up with 25 photographs of Sylvia Plath's grave âas a conversation opener'.
"Met guy at his flat, opened door in blue check fleece dressing gown and an electronic tag on his ankle [saying] âShall we just stay in?'" the Telegraph quoted one as posting.
One of the common reasons that led to a terrible dating experience was the lack of restaurant etiquette.
"Went on date with guy who said, âSeeing as I'm paying... we won't have starters and we'll drink tap water'," one tweeter added.
The offenders turned out to be men in majority.
"One gentleman took me to the pub car park to show me his motorbike. He revved it for about ten minutes then did a lap and drove off," one complainant added.
While some posts proved that being too keen on the date could be bad, some suggested that being not keen enough could be equally lethal.
