Popow has been using prosthetic limbs for two decades, and has been invited by international artificial limb maker Ottobock to conduct a special exercise as part of a three-day event to mark International Day of Persons with Disabilities, hosted globally on December 3.
Every year, the United Nations, hosts the day to create awareness about the need to make our world more accessible to People With Disability (PWD).
This year too, the focus is to improve access and promote empowerment for all. As part of the event, there will be a cricket match played between PWDs at Islam Gymkhana on December 4, followed by a run on the Marine Drive promenade. If you're keen to see Popow live in action, head there this Friday.
