On the occasion of Amitabh Bachchan's birthday, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray wished the Bollywood's megastar in a unique way.
Raj Thackeray took to social media to wish the actor on his 75th birthday. Thackeray sketched six caricatures of Amitabh Bachchan's journey in cinema, starting from 1970 to 2017.
Thackeray believes that Amitabh Bachchan redefined Hindi Cinema in terms of style and content.
In his Facebook post, Raj Thackeray said, "Many actors have, down the decades earned their spurs in cinema, making their mark and earning good popularity too. And sooner or later they have faded into the sunset. However, Amitabh Bachchan still holds the sceptre. And how!"
In a career spanning over 50 years, Amitabh Bachchan played innumerable characters on screen, several of which are etched in the memory of the audience.
The Shahenshah of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan, celebrates his 75th birthday today and on his very special day, he took to Twitter and posted a special message for his loved ones and fans.
In a series of tweets, the 75-year-old actor expressed gratitude and thanked his fans for all their love, support and wishes.
In one of the tweets, he wrote, "The affection of greeting for the 75th, displayed over several mediums, overwhelms me. A thank you shall never be enough."
Born in 1942, the actor has more than 150 feature films to his credit, in addition to many special appearances, songs and even a popular TV show hosting stint.
