School for scandal
We have been binging on the new Netflix Original Spanish series Morocco: Love in Times of War, and we have returned with mixed feelings. We love a good period setting, and this one is set in a hospital in the 1920s during the Rif War. There is some stellar acting, and stunning Spanish features, to be appreciated here. But the plot - that's our grouse. We are talking levels of serendipity and scandal in this series that would put Bollywood to shame. If you can get past the improbability of some of the circumstances, then your weekend watch is set with plenty of romance.
A map for love
What is it about love that never makes it stale? A new collection titled Eleven Ways to Love, explores this feeling through a range of essays, letters and stories that will leave you overwhelmed, happy and melancholic in parts. From a young man overrun with desire for his lover as he struggles with his own sexual identity, to the tale of a lonely heart, this book is a heartwarming collection stitched together with equally moving poetry by Sharanya Manivannan. Considering it's the season of romance, we aren't complaining.
Erotic listening
Fifty Shades Freed is releasing, and though we have the heard the movie is as cringe-worthy as its predecessors, the soundtrack is full of fun pop numbers. We love Hailee Steinfeld and Bloodpop's Capital Letters, and Whethan and Dua Lipa's sexy High, and Jessie J's even sexier I Got You. The sweet surprise on the album is that Christian Grey himself, Jamie Dornan, has sung a track as well, and we approve! Skip the movie, but get this for sure.

Explore history of archiving
5 PM: What is an archive and how has the definition changed over the decades? How do audiovisual archives differ from document archives? Shubha Chaudhuri, who has years of experience in ethnomusicology, will throw light on these questions at a Mumbai Local talk titled, The Archive Configured and Reconfigured. Watch a timeless classic

Traverse back to a bygone era
Anupam Srijan a novel, music and dance recital that marks a confluence of classical vocals and natwari kathak and the journey of Indian culture from the Vedic period to Sufism. While the first part of the recital is conceptualised around Lord Shiva, the second part will display a Mughal flavour, comprising a tarana and its interpretation in kathak. The concert will conclude with a Sufiana Qalam. One of the highlights of the programme is a sawdust sketch through dance.
