Apples from Himachal and coffee from Kerala have just been given a boozy twist by Doolally

On our agenda was to try the craft beer by Doolally, made using regional produce, thereby sticking to the theme of the event. These included their popular Apple Cider, a tasty, fizzy drink made from apples from Himachal Pradesh. It's perfect for those who dislike beer and prefer their drinks sweet. Next up was Honey Mead, which is made using honey from the Sunderbans. Lighter in colour than the cider and easier on the palate, it was the perfect summer drink.
The mead, again, has a sweet tinge due to the honey, so for those who prefer their beer bitter, go for the Coffee Porter, made using coffee beans from Kerala.
The flavour of the beans was un-missable, and thankfully, did not overpower the beer but added to its dark flavour. It had a great head and reminded us instantly of the froth on freshly served filter coffee. Expected to arrive today will be the Mango Cider, which is made from Gujarat's famous kesar mangoes. Other brews were on offer too.
All varieties are available at Doolally's Bandra and Andheri outposts.
