If you live or work in Powai, here's something to look forward to. Olive Achaar, a quirky delivery kitchen, is set to open near IIT by the second week of December. It is the brainchild of foodpreneurs Swapnil Tawde (27), Saurabh Mane (27) and Biki Gurung (27). The outpost offers a fusion of world cuisine and delivery will be within a four-kilometre radius, to neighbourhoods in Powai, Vikhroli and Kanjurmarg.

"Initially, we had thought of starting a food truck but due to limitations in the set-up and licensing issues, we decided on delivery. Our menu, offering about 20-25 dishes, will be finalised by next week," shares Mane, who will also don the chef's hat along with his partners. The reason behind the eccentric name? "Olive and achaar (pickle) are condiments which whet your appetite."

What to expect? Old Monk BBQ Chicken Wings, Darjeeling-style momos that are an ode to Gurung's hometown and even colourful rainbow buns to be used for their version of Banh-Mi (Vietnamese-style sandwich). A meal for two would cost around Rs 300.
