The Sunday brunch at Seven in Palladium Hotel throws up a number of winners. Here are seven items we definitely recommend

Broccoli and Fennel Salad

Seven, the 24/7 restaurant at Palladium hotel has just launched a sparkling Sunday Brunch complete with the best of French wines. We thought it would be rather tedious to take you through all that we ate at the launch (way too much for sure). So instead here are the seven items we definitely recommend.

Broccoli and Fennel Salad
Firm-to-the-bite pieces of broccoli are tossed with roasted fennel seeds. The addition of orange segments and strips of cheese add a zing to this innovative salad.

Seasonal Grilled Vegetables with Crumbled Feta
Veggies are made fun with the addition of the moist and crumbly feta. The grill station gets most of the dishes right, but the lightly marinated mixed greens get our thumbs up.

The sushi counter
There is a wide variety to choose from here - veg as well as non-veg options. We'd recommend a platter of these healthy starters that will also pair well with a glass of bubbly.

Chermoula Spiced King Fish with Seasonal Grilled Vegetables
This fish is a popular one at buffets. It is marinated in the Moroccan chermoula mix, which gives off the heady taste of herbs, garlic, lime, cumin. It's a healthy, tasty winner, with grilled veggies thrown in.

Consed Chicken Breast with Vanilla-scented Mashed Potato and Sage
Cut yourself a generous slice of this succulent, lightly herbed chicken. The vanilla gives off its heady aroma to the chicken too, and the unusual use of sage just adds to the flavour.

Cherry Crumble in Glass
A fruity compote at the bottom, with a generous dollop of cream and crunchy, nutty biscuit makes this sweet shot a must try. The tarty-sweet mix makes for a good break between non-veg dishes.

Chocolate Brownie with Gainduja
A lavish buffet calls for a sinful end - and this brownie lives up to expectations. It has a surprising nutty base, and a Gainduja spread. This hazelnut-chocolate spread adds a great pizzaz to the dessert.

Sunday brunch @ Seven: The non-alcoholic brunch is priced at Rs 2,100, the alcoholic brunch with Chandon by Moet Hennessy, cocktails and other premium spirits will cost Rs 2,700 and for Rs 3,900, get exquisite champagne (Louis Roederer and Bollinger), cocktails and other premium spirits.
