Did you know the word bonfire comes from bone fire, a reference to the animal bones put into fires in the second century? This podcast by America-based Lucé Tomlin-Benner, is a word-by-word decoding of terms used during or connected with Halloween, which she says was once spelled as Hallowe'en. This weekly podcast reveals eye-opening facts and history, styling tips, and blood-curdling references to movies, songs and pop-stars. Every episode is a mix of responses via emails or calls that the âhaunted host' receives, where listeners share their bitter-sweet memories of the festival. The social media accounts are the cherries on top, with pictures of styles she refers to, lists of must-watch haunted movies, and various activities. The spine-chilling theme is lined with eerie music, and the contrastingly calm voice of Tomlin-Benner. Expect a thirty-minute episode of such trivia-packed fun every Friday.
