Game of Thrones has reached cult status among fans. Pic/Twitter
House of the Dragon is a fitting title to the last scions of Valyria's dragon-lords. I'm looking forward to the Dance of the Dragons, which is obviously going to be out of this world, and gives more of an insight into the uses and abilities of these awesome dragons. I enjoyed the blood and the gore, and the unforgiving nature of the storytelling so I hope there is more of that in this series. It also delves into the darkest sides of human nature, and the sacrifices some are willing to make to achieve their ambitions and make their interests come to fruition. I feel all of these packaged into one show that showcases the origin of these families is going to be something to look forward to. The sheer amount of lore and history that is available on The House of the Dragon and Game of Thrones subreddits is insane. I think more people should get into it.

The teaser was amazing; they were always very good. Even the disappointing mess that was the final season had a good teaser. I am still not over how it ended so I am cautiously enthusiastic for this, and I know how the entire storyline ends. So I don't know if I will be as invested as I was in the original series but I am surely excited to know about the Targaryens and how they came into power. Let's not forget the dragons. I can't wait to watch some awesome battles among dragons. More importantly, I am a huge fan of Matt Smith, so I am looking forward to seeing him as Daemon.

I feel in the original Game of Thrones there was a lot about the Targaryens that was not explained. Since they are central to the plot, I guess I'd expect the House of the Dragon to cover literally everything about this family. The books also talk about this family having some sort of magic in their blood. So I guess I'm expecting a crazy turn of events with regards to how the Targaryens came into being (probably something related to the children of forest and Night King). The House of the Dragons page (subreddit) on Reddit is somewhere people could go to for new information on the show and it is worth the read.
