Seasonal call for flamingos
The Mangrove Foundation is conducting the last of its flamingo safaris in Thane Creek. The area has 200 species of birds, including several migratory species. You can also take a guided tour to get to know more about the foundation's conservation efforts.

A fine flock
Located just off the National Highway 8 in Vasai, the Pelhar lake is nestled in the Tungareshwar Wildlife Sanctuary and home to various migratory birds. Sanjay Gandhi National Park is conducting a forest walk around the lake, during which naturalists will introduce you to local fauna, including leopards, wild boars, and langurs.

Big cat frenzy
The densely wooded trails of the Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS) reserve in Goregaon are home to a wealth of flora and fauna. The excitingly named Leopard Trail offers a vantage point to gaze at butterflies, birds, and other life forms that inhabit this forest.
