The focus of this event is largely to inculcate the idea of sustainable shopping alternatives. There is a plethora of creative talent in the country, and small businesses are aplenty. This pop-up is a platform to showcase such creative endeavours," shares Ishani Bhojane, co-founder of Strut Ya Stuff.
Visitors can explore options in clothing, accessories, alternative cuisines and more at this event. "We are keen to provide a platform for small ideas and establishments. Most brands at this event are by young entrepreneurs who are under the age of 32. This becomes a good avenue for creators to interact with their market and other small businesses as well," explains Bhojane.
The event will allow attendees to explore vegan cuisine options, handmade jewellery, handmade clay articles and even tattoo art at the venue to make for a fun evening. The team at Strut Ya Stuff, comprising Lenaisha Jagani, Dr Shikha Punjabi and Bhojane, are hopeful that such events will help local talent in the long term. "There is a demand for cost-effective, sustainable options in India, and our idea is to disrupt the commercial scheme and provide them with a platform,"
concludes Bhojane.
