Mothering plant babies can be tough, especially if you live in a city that experiences smog, rain and clammy shine for seasons. Apart from browning leaf-tips, awkwardly tall stems and pale droopy blades, this mum had been losing sleep over mildew clusters around her hibiscus nodes. But with some gardening gyaan from urban plantswoman Priyanka Varade, she was able to deal with the mealybug infestation. Turns out that a simple neem oil and soap solution does the trick. I have a bright hibiscus flower sitting snug as a bug in my balcony now.
