The incident occurred when the complainant was having snacks with her husband and daughter at a popular hang out spot near the riverside in Deccan.
In her complaint, the woman said the quartet molested her while her husband was away answering nature's call. She added that the family immediately fled the spot fearing the worst.

"The accused molested her and then left the place on Saturday night. On Sunday, they allegedly manhandled her husband when he was in the market buying fruits," said PSI MB Suryavanshi.
Soon after the woman came to know that the quartet had manhandled her husband, she approached officials at the Deccan police station and lodged a complaint against them.
Suryavanshi said the complainant and her husband identified the quartet, following which they were brought to the police station.
"All the four accused were arrested and booked under Sections 354 (Assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 323 (Punishment for voluntary causing hurt) and 34 (Acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of the IPC," Suryavanshi said.u00a0
