A Special NDPS court on Saturday granted bail to seven more accused, including organisers of the event, in the Cordelia cruise drugs case. With this, a total of 12 accused have managed to secure bail out of the 20 arrested. Achit Kumar, who allegedly supplied drugs to Aryan Khan, is one of the accused who was granted bail on Saturday.

Special judge VV Patil granted bail to applicants including Nupur Satija and Gomit Chopra - both were guests on the cruise. The duo was allegedly found in possession of drugs. Others include Kumar and Gopal Anand, Samir Sehgal, Manav Singhal, Bhaskar Arora - all associated with the event management company.

According to the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Satija was on the cruise as a guest and she was in possession of four tablets of Ecstasy. Anand, Sehgal, Singhal and Arora were alleged organisers of the event. The NCB has claimed that they were an integral part of the event.

The bail order came hours after the Bombay High Court granted bail to Aryan, Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha. For now, only Aryan walked out of the jail on Saturday morning. Earlier two accused - Avin Sahu and Manish Rajgadiya - had secured bail on October 26, and were released from jail the next day. All the accused were arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau in different operations early October.
