Maharashtra ATS arrests hotelier who supplied drugs from Himachal Pradesh

According to ATS sources, Rumi Thakur is the kingpin of charas suppliers in Mumbai, Goa, Bangalore and Pune.

In a major crackdown, the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) on Tuesday arrested a supplier of charas, also known as Manali cream, from Himachal Pradesh.

In a covert operation led by ATS DIG Shivdeep Lande, the agency nabbed Rumi Thakur, a hotelier in Kullu district. According to ATS sources, Thakur is the kingpin of charas suppliers in Mumbai, Goa, Bangalore and Pune. He was running a river view hotel in Kullu.

In the last one month, the ATS teams have carried out multiple raids in Himachal Pradesh after various cases having links to Himachal Pradesh were transferred to the ATS.
