Mumbai: Actor Ajaz Khan detained by NCB in drugs case

Bollywood actor Ajaz Khan has been detained by the Narcotics Control Bureau in a drug-related case. Khan's name apparently emerged during the questioning of alleged peddler Shadab Batata in an investigation of a drug-related case.

According to NCB officials, Khan was taken into custody from Mumbai Airport on Tuesday when he landed in the city from Rajasthan.

Earlier, the NCB team had arrested Shadab Batata, son of Farooq Batata, and recovered drugs worth Rs 2 crore.

Shadab Batata allegedly supplies drugs to Bollywood celebrities in Mumbai, an NCB official said.
