The Principal Sessions Judge S S Sawant at Dindoshi court granted anticipatory bail to Air India pilot Akshat Sethi, who has been accused of rape by a TV actress.
Senior advocate Chandrakant B Ambani, who appeared for the accused pilot, said, "We had complete faith in police and judiciary. We knew that Sethi would get justice."
A prominent TV actress had filed a complaint against the pilot accusing him of rape and cheating on the pretext of marriage.
The FIR was registered at Oshiwara police Station on January 18 under Sections 376 (rape) and 417 (cheating) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
