A 25-year-old man was arrested by Mulund police for attacking two people with knives on Friday.
The incident came to light on August 25, when the police received a call from an unknown person claiming that one person was roaming free with weapons like coconut breakers and knives in his hands.
"We reached Apna Bazar near JN Road, Mulund West. We saw a person had injured two people by attacking them with weapons. Upon further investigation we found one more knife in his pocket, considering the situation we apprehended him immediately," said police constable Samabji Jadhav who apprehended the accused.
The alleged accused has been identified as Talim Aarsan alias Jaipal Harijan (25).

"The main purpose of the alleged accused was to terrorise people in the nearby area. He pointed out the weapons to rickshaw drivers and stall owners," said a source.
"We want to ascertain what was the motive behind the crime. Two injured people have sustained minor injuries," said Jadhav.
The alleged accused had been booked under section of MCOCA Act and under the relevant sections of the Arms Act.
