A robber who posed as a customer and stole a jewellery box from a shop in Charkop few weeks ago and his accomplice with whom he escaped on a bike, were arrested on Wednesday night.
The accused were identified as Ravikumar Singh, 31 and Shyam Gujjar, 23. Both were picked up from Malvani church locality, said Charkop police.
On February 4, one of the accused entered Padmavati Jewellers at Charkop posing as a customer. He asked the shopkeeper, Chetan Khicha, 47, to show few gold pendants. When Khicha placed the pendant box in front of the customer to choose from, he asked him to show more options.
