A 48-year-old man has been arrested by Sahar Police for allegedly sexually assaulting his 20-year-old daughter for the past two years.
According to police, the incident came to light after the victim revealed it to her boyfriend, following which he took her to the police station on Wednesday.
The victim, a college student, is a resident of Andheri and her father runs a garment shop at Khar West.
In her statement to the police, the victim said that her father raped her for the past two years and she did not reveal it to anyone as she was scared, however, it affected her mental and physical health.

The victim said that when her father found out about her relationship, he said that he has consulted a tantrik, who said that the boy's life is in danger and he will die soon.
"The accused said to the victim that baba has told a remedy that if she made physical relationship with her father then her lover's life can be saved. So, to save her boyfriend's life, she kept a physical relationship with her father," said a police officer.
"When she revealed about the incident to her boyfriend, he took her to the police station and filed a case," the officer added.
"We registered the case against her father and arrested him. The girl also told us that her father sexually assaulted her when she was a teenager. We will also add the sections of the POCSO Act in this case," said another police officer.
