The Special Investigating Team (SIT) managed to track his whereabouts and he was arrested.
The Mumbai police arrested the absconding accused Rajesh Pandey in fake vaccination scam case from Baramati district in Maharashtra.
Police said Rajesh was misusing his identity as an employee of Andheri-based Kokilaben Hospital and defrauding people in the name of vaccination.
Earlier, Kandivli police had called Rajesh for interrogation after Kandivli-based Hiranandani Heritage Society complained about fake vaccination camp. However, he was not arrested due to lack of evidence.
Later, Pandey fled to Baramati and also applied for anticipatory bail at Dindoshi Sessions Court. However, his plea was rejected and the court ordered the police to arrest him.

So far, 12 people have been arrested in fake vaccination scam and 10 FIRs have been registered.
