This incident follows a similar hoax bomb threat received by the Mumbai Police in August, originating from an unidentified caller who claimed the possibility of a blast or untoward incident at both Mumbai and Delhi Domestic and International Airports. In response to that threat, law enforcement agencies, in collaboration with other relevant authorities, conducted extensive security checks at the airports. Fortunately, no suspicious items or activities were discovered during the inspections.
