The three detained in the rape of the 23-year-old American student from Tata Insitute of Social Sciences will be produced in the Kurla court at 3pm on Thursday.
The three boys, Dev Singh, Kundan and Anish aged between 20-22 years, have not been approached by any of their family members yet, said a senior police inspector from the Trombay Police Station. The police refused to divulge further information.
The girl was allegedly raped on Saturday night by six boys at an Andheri flat after they all dined at a Govandi restaurant. She was in India on an exchange program at TISS.
The police have already sent a team to Jamshedpur where they beleive the remaining three accused have fled.
