Social activist Anna Hazare on Saturday wrote a two-page letter to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh complaining that the Delhi Police order restricting his fast to three days was a violation of his fundamental rights.

He continued to state that despite the restrictions, he will go ahead with the fast, and if arrested, he will continue it in jail.

In an order with 22 restrictions, the Delhi Police on Friday asked Team Anna to give an undertaking that it will end its protest fast in three days and limit the crowds gathered to 5,000 people.

Hazare will sit on indefinite hunger strike from August 16 against the government Lokpal bill. However, Delhi Police said no fast will be allowed without accepting all restrictions.
