Bomb hoax in Kandivli

Jayesh Solanki (35), a BMC worker was arrested yesterday by the Samta Nagar police station for making a hoax call.u00a0Jayesh, a resident of Borivli, allegedly said that explosives would arrive at the Kandivli railway station last evening. According to PI Mandakini Narvate, the control room received the call from a mobile number. The police team rushed to the spot, but found the call to be a hoax.

They traced the call to Kandivli (East) and discovered that the phone belonged to Jayesh, who was drunk. His brother told the police that Solanki usually makes such disturbing calls whenever he is drunk. The police have arrested Solanki under Section 305 (2) of the IPC. They would produce him before the court today.
