Bharat Borge, the Air Works technician who discovered pebbles and gravel in the fuel tank of Anil Ambani's chopper, and was later found dead on the railway tracks at Vile Parle, is likely to get compensation from the maintenance company. Some officials from Air Works Company visited Borge's family in Satara three days back and promised help.
According to Ashok Borge, Bharat's brother, "We spoke about compensation for us to the officials who came to Satara. They said they will compensate us, but the final decision will be taken at a meeting of the board of directors." He added, "Bharat's wife is unemployed and he has three young children. We need the compensation and are waiting for their call."
However, Borge's wife Sangeeta said, "Nobody has approached me for the compensation. And I am not interested in the money." Sangeeta and her children, Anuradha (18), Abhijeet (15) and Akshay (12), are in Satara at present. The Crime Branch investigating the sabotage case has interrogated nearly 70 people, including employees of Air Works, and detained three people.
