"We have taken a day off to support Anna and for the development of the nation. If required, we will soon go on strike till the government ensures transparency," said Kalim Sheikh, a taxi driver.
He added, "We are constantly harassed by police constables asking us for bribes, even though we follow traffic rules. This is the time to fight against injustice."
The enthused crowd of taxi drivers ended their agitation at Azad Maidan by joining the other protesters present, at the ground.
People from all walks of life were present shouting energetic slogans and infusing energy and life into Azad Maidan.
