City students top MHT-CET

The eagerly awaited Maharashtra Health and Technology Common Entrance Examination (MHT-CET) were announced today by the Directorate of Medical Education and Research.


The eagerly awaited Maharashtra Health and Technology Common Entrance Examination (MHT-CET) were announced today by the Directorate of Medical Education and Research.

Shagun Shaha from Jai Hind college is the topper in the medical stream while Udit Chitaliya, Patkar College topped the engineering stream.

"We are extremely proud of our student and her achievement. We will get a better opportunity to contact her tomorrow now when the results are distributed to the students," said Dr Kirti Narain, principal Jai Hind college.u00a0

A total of 2,45,673 students appeared for the examination from 647 centres in Maharashtra.
