Cops didn't inform Borge's Mumbai family of death

Even though Bharat Borge's body was found around 8 am yesterday, his family in Mumbai didn't know about it till evening.

And even then, it was their family in Karad that informed them, not the police who had questioned Borge as the prime witness in the Anil Ambani helicopter sabotage case.

Borge's body was found on the tracks near Vile Parle station. "We didn't know about that Bharat's death till our relatives from Karad called at 5 pm.

The police got the Karad phone number from Bharat's cellphone. We didn't even till late about the letter Bharat wrote. He use to speak about the sabotage with his brother Anand on phone often," said Borge's cousin Sambhaji Botre.
