Retail shop Provogue's owner Salil Chaturvedi was on Friday acquitted by the sessions court in connection with a drugs consumption case.
A special Narcotic drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) court acquitted Chaturvedi, who was arrested for drugs consumption, observing that there is no evidence against him.
Chaturvedi was arrested on August 2, 2005 and the police had allegedly recovered three grams of Cocaine from his residence. On 26 January 2005, Provogue's Manager Vishal Meghlani was arrested from the city airport for possession of Cocaine.
Meghlani had then told the police that Chaturvedi, film Director Ken Ghosh and Bollywood actor Fardeen Khan were his clients.

Following this, the police arrested Chaturvedi and raided his residence where they allegedly recovered the drug from his bathroom.
