Four persons were killed and around 40 injured in a collision between a minibus and a state transport bus at Nagothane along the Mumbai-Goa highway on Wednesday.


Four persons were killed and around 40 injured in a collision between a minibus and a state transport bus at Nagothane along the Mumbai-Goa highway on Wednesday.

Located approximately 120 km away from south Mumbai, the accident took place a little before 7 am, near Sukeri village in Raigad district.

While the minibus was going from Ahmedabad to Mahabaleshwar with 20 passengers, the ST bus was going from Mahsalla (in Raigad) to Matheran with 55 passengers, most of whom were students of Vasantrao Naik College of Arts & Commerce, Mahsalla.
