For a common man, Income Tax department is always excruciating, but its new architecture-friendly building, a flotilla of sails, would relieve things a bit.


The I-T department will construct the Rs 51 crore office-cum-residential building next to the NCPA on a space admeasuring 3333 sq yards.


SG Srivastav, IRS, Income Tax department, said, "The design for this building will be prepared by England-based architects Chapman Taylor and Company who have visited the site."
