Dhaval Dave believes a part of him is coming to an end, with the franchise's last installment

As the decade-long Harry Potter franchise comes to an end with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Part 2) released this week, many across the globe are understandably in grief. But a 24 year-old boy from Ahmedabad is especially so.

Dhaval Dave bears an uncanny resemblance to Daniel Radcliffe, the actor who plays Harry Potter, and the resemblance has brought him much fame. With end of the film franchise, Dave believes a part of him is coming to an end. He knew this day would come, but he is finding it hard to say goodbye.u00a0 Dave, who is often called 'Harry Puttar' by Indian Potter fans, has regularly appeared on television and in magazines as a Potter look-alike, and was also invited to Dubai for the launch of one of the Potter books.

Speaking to Sunday MiD DAY from Ahmedabad, Dave said, "I am upset that this is the last Potter film. At the age of 19, thanks to Potter, a middle class boy like me became a star." Just like it took a professor to help the boy wizard achieve his destiny in the Potter books, Dave too has special mentions for a professor. "I knew, I looked like Potter but I was too shy to express my feelings. It was Professor AR Dani who helped me overcome my inhibition."

Dave, who plans to watch the final film with his family and friends, said he wants to enter Bollywood. "I want to start my career as Dhaval Dave, not Potter. But before doing that, I would like a photograph taken with Daniel and the entire Potter cast."
