The hoarding, however, was taken down by the Nirmal Nagar police on Tuesday afternoon.

MNS executive member Akhil Chitre said that the poster was in protest of the lukewarm treatment meted out to Maharashtra in the minister's interim railway budget.

"Yadav announced that the railways made a whopping profit, but he failed to recognise that most of it is due to contributions from the Maharashtra and Mumbai sector. The only train started for the state is from Patna to Pune, which shows his clear bias towards his state."

The banner that was erected on the station road in Bandra East at 11pm on Monday night was pulled down at noon on Tuesday.
