Yesterday, on the last day of submission of forms for Maharashtra Housing and Development Authority (MHADA) homes, the agency received a record 4.31 lakh forms, the highest ever in its history.
MHADA started selling forms on January 12 and extended the date till February 6 from its earlier January 30 deadline. Even the dates for submission were extended -- first from January 31 to February 7 and then to February 11. MHADA sold more than 7.55 lakh forms for the 3,863 MHADA flats that it has to offer.
However, due to the huge response and the forthcoming elections the MHADA lottery results will be delayed.
