Mumbai: Maharashtra government today decided that no new tenders would be issued for road projects unless 90 per cent land acquisition is completed.

PWD Minister Chandrakant Patil said delays in completion of road projects, including construction of new roads and expansion of existing ones, result in cost escalations due to hurdles in land acquisition.
