A major fire, whichu00a0broke out at Holiday Inn hotel in Juhu on Thursday afternoon, has been brought underu00a0control with no reports of casualties. Eight fire enginess, five water tankers were pressed into service to bring the fire under control.
The fire started in the new building, which is under construction around 12 noon. The fire spread suddenly to the old building and damaged the hotel properties. Eight fire enginess, five water tankers and two ambulances have been rushed
The construction workers and house-keeping staff at the spot have been rescued to safety, however, fire officials say they are still looking for people trapped, if any and will also ascertain the cause of the fire and value of property damage.
