A terminal manager was beaten up by a group of CISF personnel at terminal 1A of the domestic airport at Santacruz at 9.30 am today.
The whole incident was sparked off after Alistair D'Mello, a terminal manager, went to the security hold area as part of his rounds.
The CISF personnel on duty stopped D' Mello, resulting in an altercation.
A group of CISF personnel then beat him up. According to airport officials, as terminal manager, D'Mello is permitted to enter all areas.

He was also wearing his uniform. Inspector SM Ghughe of the airport police station said, "I am in a meeting with the people concerned. I will be able to comment on this only after some time."u00a0
