Minor fire at Taj heritage, no casualties reported

A short circuit caused a minor fire at the basement of the Taj Heritage hotel in Colaba,u00a0today morning. Eight fire engines and four water tankers rushed to the spot, after the hotel officials informed the fire department about the incident.

"We got a call at 12.40 pm and immediately rushed to the spot, the fire was at the basement in the employees' changing room,"u00a0said Deputy fire officer U Tatakare.

"It took us less than an hours time to get the fire in control. There is no casualty as of now," said PS Rahangdale, additional deputy fire officer.
