The Bombay High Court on Wednesday granted Raj Thackeray-led Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) permission to hold a rally on Gudi Padwa at the Shivaji Park in Dadar.

The senior counsel appearing for MNS, VA Thorat, assured the Bombay High Court bench that they have already given an undertaking to the BMC and police that no rule will be violated of the Noise Pollution Act 2000.
The bench of Justice Abhay Oka and Prakash Naik granted the permission on various conditions and asked the police to record the noise levels and submit a report to it by April 13.
